BORIS KALIKA, DMD
Dr. Boris Kalika joined the practice in 2006. He earned a Bachelor of Science from Montclair State University with a major in biology. He then received his Doctor of Dental Medicine at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey at the New Jersey Dental School. He completed his Oral and Maxillofacial surgery training at Emory University School of Medicine and its affiliated hospitals in Atlanta, Georgia.
He is currently a member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the American Dental Association, as well as the New Jersey Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. Dr. Kalika is also an active member of the New Jersey Dental Association and the Atlantic Cape May County Dental Society, having recently been appointed to the Committee on Dental Education. He is also a fellow in the American Society of Dental Anesthesiology as well as board certified by the National Dental Board of Anesthesiology.
Dr. Kalika is a Clinical Instructor in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the New Jersey Dental School, where he is involved in active teaching. In addition, he is a staff surgeon at local area hospitals, including Shore Memorial Hospital and Atlanticare Regional Medical Center in Northfield and Pomona. He is also a frequent lecturer to both dental students and various dental professionals, and attends numerous continuing education courses each year. Dr. Kalika practices a broad scope of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. His special interests include removal of wisdom teeth, dentoalveolar surgery, surgical dental Implantology including bone grafting, maxillofacial trauma, maxillofacial pathology and corrective jaw surgery.
Dr. Kalika lives locally with his wife and son, and enjoys sports, theater and reading.
